  Though it sounds horrible, try using a neti pot. You literally poor water in one nostril and it comes out the other. I didn't want to try it, but I was having such problems that I got desperate and I found that it doesn't feel weird and it works. Zicam was actually pulled off the shelves a couple of months ago because it was destroying people's sense of smell. I'm sure they fixed the problem if they're still selling it, but I ain't risking my smeller.
