That Commodores record is more notably anachronistic than anything else. Hadn't heard that Renée Geyer record before, nice tune ...

Your humor was a nice contrast to what was onscreen.

When you hit your knee on the car you can see the car shake. You REALLY hit it hard didnt you? There are parts of the movie where you look like your really getting into your character. Your freaking eyes are creepy. Its almost like method acting. Did you try to become the character? Great movie for your fist time.

Just finished the commentary, and it is a good listen. I think a main block to getting a DVD release might have less to do with overdubbing the soundtrack, than the cost of music used in the film. I can only begin to imagine just how much those songs would cost in total...

That's what I mean. Since the soundtrack was actually playing there live in the scenes, the movie would have to be muted and dubbed over to get rid of the music.

ah sorry, my mistake. thought you just meant the original vocal tracks rather than the music.

Shooting the torture scenes in red kind of reminds me of how Hell is portrayed in This Night I'll Possess Your Corpse, which is also the only color sequence in a black and white film.

I found Freak Out to be very interesting, and very disturbing.
But I think t might have been better to use glue/paint fume sniffing, which was the reality of that last night, as the drug fueling the Freak Out. More hallucinogenic, IMO.
Love your commentaries too. Just saw the Death Bed and Hardgore masterpieces savaged by you. THey sound atrocious!

nice commentary dude, always like to look behind the scenes at what went on in the film. like you said, its flawed for sure, but its amazing for your first film
i would really like to see this remade as it were with a proper camera and editing tools. i think it would be really amazing to see this revised and slightly recut for a dvd release. hell maybe with some of your new friends at channel awesome that could be a reality.
or maybe not. a guy can dream right?
    take care

in all seriousness i was actually really surprised at how much i enjoyed this movie, and in reality it's kind of an inspiration for all people who want to make movies. honestly i had no idea you made movies, and i only knew you had acting experience from a spoony commentary but i wasn't sure of what kind. so then the other day i stumbled onto this when going through your site's sidebar. really good stuff, can't wait to see your new one you're making! take care man.

Why did the videos disappear? They're still accessible directly from blip, but on my end they don't even show on the site.

BTW I really loved the movie, very well acted (with the girl being the exception here), nicely paced and with some outstanding dialogue. Hell, there's even boobs in it (too bad I couldn't see too much of them)! I'm kinda curious how you managed to pull that off, was the girl playing the part an actual actress paid for the job, or just very open-minded? Hope you mention this in the commentary, which, without further ado, I'm playing.
