TheCinemaSnob.com Presents, a Short Film Written and Directed by Ryan Mitchelle.
When two Hollywood Producers (Ryan Mitchelle and Brian Lewis) proposition Brad and Jerrid about the possibility of turning The Cinema Snob into a big budget summer blockbuster, how much will it take for the boys to sell out?

Much better camera quality, new camera?

Good camera but damn bad quality on my computer. Sucks too cause you got a better camera.

id cast pierre kirby as the cinema snob and hire bruno matteis ghost to direct it

Wow, you look different in good quality, man. Quite handsome, if you don't mind my saying.
Very funny script and acting all around. By the way, I would so watch a Cinema Snob film.
And Reb Brown should play Jerrid.

You should call it Zombie 7: The Afternoon of the Cinema Snob and the two Hollywood corporate hyenas would be revealed to be in reality zombies by the 3rd act of the movie. I'll wait for a co-writing credit in your movie, cause my idea is genius

Im excited!
But I must say that we NEED Nick Cage to be in this

I enjoyed that.
How long did it take to shoot?

Nice to see Brad and Jerrid back again.

That was really great!

Ha ha The Cinema Snob movie is something I've always wanted to see. I don't care even if Chester Novell Turner directed it, I'd still pay to see it.

The Cinema Snob may never sellout, but The BANNED FROM THE VIDEO STORE movie could have Mary Kate and Ashley in it and Id be played byRob Schieder and id sign off on it. btw Jerrid rules.

You sold out for a mini-van?!
I don't know you anymore Brad!
'The Cinema Snob Movie' sounds great though. If you can get Pierre Kirby to come out of retirement, he'd be the perfect lead.

Alright (nice bit with the Die Hard/bank heist), but the sound was really low for some reason.

Did you buy a new camera? I highly enjoy the better quality.

Should have held out for the Mercedes and the all expense paid island cruise...
But still it is a pretty sweet Van by any measure
In my opinion Brad and Jerrid could benefit from some form of continuing "Antagonist" character someone their always at odds with and trying to think of ways to thwart.
kind of like the Hollywood agents in this episode
a KHAN! to their Captain Kirk if you will
examples:
the cliche nagging landlord who wants the rent BY FRIDAY!
the cliche asshole boss who is constantly looking for reasons to fire them.
the cliche 80s Jock Douche "THERE IS NO FEAR IN THIS DOJO!"
the possibilities are endless

Good short, but now you're somewhat obligated to make a Snob movie. I would go for ultra-low-budget, "shot on (digital) shitteo" filmmaking. You could carry on the conceit that you are being forced to appear in the movie, and that the two producers have come up with a script that is nothing like the Cinema Snob show, so it's one of those "movie within a movie" movies about making a film. I would make it no longer than 60-90 minutes because the Snob is best in small doses (no insult but I thought that some of the best Cinema Snob episodes were the really short ones you made for ScrewedTube.) I don't know if a movie like this would be some sort of breakout hit, but the fans would love it. Anyway, Happy New Year!

This is one of the best Brad and Jerrid episodes. I loved, however predictable it was, when they said Jerrid sold them the rights to cinemasnob and we see Jerrid counting the money (what? 35 bucks? haha)
Dude this was hilarious, keep it up!

Excellent work sir! Though I have to ask: does the new camera belong to you?
Reply to this
Sadly, that's not my camera, though I wish it was. Since this short was written and directed by Ryan, his equipment was used.

The writing, performances and editing were terrific. But I feel bad for saying that you guys should really spend a little bit more time on lighting.
You don't have to be all Conrad Hall, but... you know.

Don't worry Brad your videos are like the opposite of Avatar, not so good visually but great in originality and execution. Hope I don't annoy someone but that's my opinion towards Brad's videos.
Reply to this
Ah, too bad. Still, save the Brad and Jerrid videos, it probably wouldn't have changed too much having that camera.
Reply to this
Ha, Ryan was back in town, eh? While it feels a little different from the last two, I think he got the characters right. Brad as the straight man, Jerrid as the goofy guy who gets Brad into awkward situations...
Holy shit, this really could be a bad Hollywood movie.
On a somewhat related note, whatever happened to that guy sho said he was going to write a fanfic about you and Pierre Kirby saving the world? If it doesn't exist in a few months, I may just write only to say, "Yes, it exists."

Ha! That was funny. Good job. But of course the Cinema Snob is really more of a zombie fighter than a crime fighter. Or maybe he should do a jewel thief movies.

Always love your work Brad.

Yesss! I loved it. The camera looked so good as well. I hope that's Brad's camera and not that Ryan guy's
Sold out for a mini-van :p

Oh, and Jerrid was great. He's the goofiest guy on here. Lloyd Kaufman would LOVE Jerrid.

I envision a cinema snob movie as something like this:
The Snob receives a mysterious tape (perfect moment for a lost highway parody)that turns out to be an unreleased third Chester Novell Turner movie. The awful movie so traumatizes the Snob that he becomes fanatically obsessed with tracking down the person who sent it to him. Some part of the movie would have to be "actual footage" of the Turner movie a la Cannibal Holocaust.

...or can I? (shudders nervously)

yeah if you really make the cinema snob movie, i would so try to find a publisher for this one in germany haha
summer 2012's gonna awesome (let's just hope the mayas were wrong about armageddon and stuff

Why can't I get this video to play right?! So unfair!

Summer 2012 ? Oh, so that what will cause the end of the world, the cinema snob movie !
I'm pretty surprised none of the movie you already reviewed already did that ...

This video is so damn funny! I laughed my ass off! I always enjoy your videos!
Here's an idea for a Cinema Snob movie. The Cinema Snob is in a Saw-like situation in which he uses his knowledge of exploitation movie trivia to escape and to thwart a Jigsaw-type character.

I thought this was hilarious, but I have to ask, are you serious?

This was brilliant ! Doug your acting in this was top notch...but it was really strange to see "The Snob" in such clarity. Did they use HD to shoot this ? And just a suggestion...when will jillian get her own spot on the site ?? Her twilight review was spot on ! Why have you diminished such amazing talent to boob jokes in the big box reviews ? I'd love to see a siskel ebert style with The snob and Jillian ! Due to I have forced my own favorite awful cinema i love on my cignificant other and....she fucking hated it. Like I said, just a suggestion...I think it would be funny as fuck. And YES her cans are amazing...you lucky bastard

Yo brad. Check this.. you got a money maker here on yo hands. Straight up. All you gotta do is get on Scream TV, then Fox, then go straight for a movie adaption.
More like "Da $nob". You'll be the next big shit, right up there with Twilight and Miley What-the-fucks-her-face

Of course, a Cinema Snob movie would have to include Forrest Gump - style editing whereby the snob is able to interact with Pierre Kirby.
Or perhaps the Snob could perfect a device that allows him to doppel himself into movies he hates and kick people's asses.

great video funny as all hell, but idk why I can't shake the fact that to me you sound strangely like Jack Nicholson

Well, you don't have to make a big budget movie to be international. You've got at least one oversea viewer here in Spain.
By the way. You seem pretty concerned about alternative titles... you should check the ones here... I rememeber watching Nail gun massacre when I was a teenager and the title was: "Nail Gun: Pistola de clavos"... It would translate as "Nail gun: Nail Gun". Just wow.
