I liked Jilian's commentary in this episode. Made things pretty lively and upbeat for a review of a mondo movie.

I can't believe so many mondo movies even exist. But as long as you guys do this kinda stuff I hope there's many more. Also Jillian was a good commentator for her first appearance on the show.

Great episode and it seems strange that Bruno Mattei, after directing two pretty good movies SS Girls and Women's Camp 119, he went on a downward spiral with the Mondo movies. Maybe he liked to do bizarre porn or it sold well. I see in his imdb page that he than returned to do some of his best but a really strange period for a director to do good movies, than porn, than good movies again. It shows that mister Mattei was a complete and eccentric director.
Also it seems like this one tried to be the most disturbing of them all but as you show the way they executed the subjects ensures hilarity. Can't wait to see more of you guys talking about how many other recycled scenes are in the next movie and if you resist to do anymore.

Funny you should mention Shocking Asia btw. I just saw that last Monday. That actually wasn't that bad. That really seemed like a travelogue of weird shit in Asia. I mean they do skin snakes there and yes well a lot of sex-change surgeries go on there(for a non exploitative movie on this check Beautiful Boxer).
But yeah I'm curious as to what you'll review next.

I realize the point of this show is to cover every Mattie movie in chronological order, but is there any chance we can skip these damn Mondo movies and get on to "Hell of the Living Dead" or something else a little more interesting? I mean, it's basically the same movie over and over at this point, isn't it?

The staff and management of The Brewhaus restaurant must be a very understanding lot. They let you sit in their establishment and talk out loud about movies involving piss facials, shit fondling, fucking statues, penis surgery, etc, and they're okay with it. Hell, I said "boobies" once in an Applebee's and got banned for life.
Jillian is a very hot girl and I can see why you hooked up with her. I wish I could find a woman with my taste in movies.

The Brewhaus loves us! Though to clear things up just a little, the Brewhaus is a bar and not a restaurant. We've been going there for years, so they don't really mind us using the place as the backdrop for the show. You can see the Brewhaus in color in a few of Brad's movies, most notably "Midnight Heat".
We have run into a few problems with using a bar for filming, though, such as the music in the background being kind of loud sometimes or people coming up to ask questions while we're filming (that's why there's that odd cut right at the 15:00 mark in this video).

Hillarious. Even more so, since I speak German. "And now she only draws pleasure from fucking retarded people" was a line I would have never expected to hear in my life. I don't know whether you did some translation, but when you debated whether it was a sex change operation or not and you showed the clip where they announce exactly that: It's a sex change going on.
It's very interesting how a single person can totally alter the feeling and vibe of a show. Jillian certainly makes it funnier and livelier, but it loses some of the "classy" feel The Bruno Mattei Show had up until now. Suddenly the most dominant member of the group is not Brad but Jillian ^^

Brad: I love you dude, I'm a big big fan... But you gotta start being fastidious about your audio when you shoot on location. I understand you're going for a nice, low din in the background to give the whole roundtable setting some life. Without that, 4 people talking in a void sounds like the Bruno Mattei Show is on NPR. But i can practically hear the next table ordering their silly-fries.
I have to admit, the video with the insanely loud leaves was hilariously tragic. But your content is great, and I would love to be able to hear it. I think it would also be nice if other people could hear it, and help you achieve your professional goals.
How are you mic'ing this? You could use 4 unidirectional mics, and a room mic for ambiance. This way you can mix the room noise in later for optimum vocal clarity.
Then again, maybe I'm going deaf.

I have been enjoying the show so far but now we have gotten to a point where the mondo/pornography has become monotonous (in my personal opinion). Hope we get to a non-porno, non-mondo soon.

Well, I'm usually drinking either a Strongbow, Amber Woodchuck, or a Rum and Coke. Sarah tends to stick with a Screwdriver or a Vodka Redbull. As for Brad, he's usually keeping it classy with a Scotch on the rocks or a glass of Merlot.
