Well I would have loved to send you a copy of this movie, but frankly I have a little too much self respect to spend even the price of a bootleg on it.
What we have here is cameras set up in one position for entire scenes, editing so bad that some scenes are repeated, and acting so bad that it makes the cast of Woodchipper Massacre look like Oscar material.

Great review; it can be very difficult to humorously skewer a bad comedy. At least with goofy bad movies like the hoboken chicken emergency, and lame horror like zombi 6 you can laugh at how bad it is. When a comedy is this abysmal it just enrages the viewer and grows tiresome quick. Mike Nelson said they can't do bad comedy movies on rifftrax.

I really think the only zombie thing with singing i enjoyed was Song of the Dead from Fangora's short film Dvd, Blood Drive.
i think you should take the songs from this and over dub it with Zombie Lake.

I understand if the movie wanted to be different, but a sing along horror comedy? It's like putting katchup on a chocolate sunday with habanero peppers. It just doesn't work.

Actually Mark Pirro has a knock-off, a guy named Jack M. Sell, who did a mid-80s comedy called "Outtakes." That "film" was a total ripoff of "The Kentucky Fried Movie", a collection of unrealted sketches about TV and cinema...it would be perfect for a Snob review.

While investigating absurd permutations on the titles "...of the dead" and "dead," don't miss "The Alien Dead," Fred Olen's Ray's first movie, made before he had reached his ummm... "full potential." It's better than Zombie Lake, but is still in almost every respect absolute garbage. In a good way!

I've seen some movies that might be seen as crappy, but have a unique charm to them in spite of themselves, but at the same time, crap is crap... pure and simple. And this movie is utter crap. And not just any crap, its that festering, fly ridden crap left behind by dogs.

What we have here is cameras set up in one position for entire scenes, editing so bad that some scenes are repeated, and acting so bad that it makes the cast of Woodchipper Massacre look like Oscar material.

For zombie musicals I'll stick to the awesome "Dead and Breakfast."
I haven't seen this film, but it reminded me of "Gory Gory Hallelujah," which sounds a lot better than it actually is. Read the plot summary on IMDB and tell me it doesn't sound awesome. Then watch the movie and despair at how awful it turned out to be.
Your choice of material to review is always great.

I just looked this up on IMDB... The Judge Rhinehole joke may be pointless to some (basically everyone on Earth besides Mark Pirro), but Pirro aparently gets a kick out of it: the character reappears in two subsequent Pirro movies: "Buford's Beach Bunnies" and "the God Complex" (the latter came out just last year). All three times Rhinehole is played by a different actor.
