Is that for another boggy creek sequel or for industrial sized toilets?

Seems to me that the doc could have just saved some time and effort and found 1 girl that already had all the "right" parts. It almost worked for the doctor in "The Brain That Wouldn't Die".

It was called "Dr. Gore" when I rented it though...no wonder I could never find it again, what with it's multiple titles.

YAY! Thats the 3rd movie I've suggested for you to mention or review! I guess I have terrible taste. lol, thanks Brad!

BTW, I have the same release of this film, Big Box and all, but yours appears to be far gorier, brighter picture presentation, and widescreen, whereas mine was fullscreen! Did you by any chance use a torrent to get the footage, because the film was remastered by Something Weird video, and I think perhaps you might have gotten the DVD version. The VHS version sucks, although I guarantee that the scene marker was not in my copy.
Say, you wouldn't want to trade by any chance, would you? ... maybe autograph it for me? lol

Exactly. You could run this site for years exclusively on ninth party Emmannuelle movies... which is not to say you should, but used in moderation...

I personally love the Paragon music. Has that public domain feel to it. Not only that, but it just sounds epic.

I actually saw the cover for that tape once. Definitely a classic cover. The plot does feel like Frankenhooker before that film was made.

BTW, House of the Devil is being put out on VHS in an old-school style clamshell (think Thorn EMI) as an Amazon exclusive.

It's like they took the dead wife/girlfriend concept from 'The Brain That Wouldn't Die' and the hooker killing scenes from 'Frankenhooker', sprinkled it with some Japanese B-movie gore, then topped it off with the hackjob editing of 'Manos: the Hands of Fate.' Mix that with a million alternate titles and I think they struck psychotronic gold!

It would be interesting if you could do a Big Box episode on THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL. This 2009 horror movie was released on DVD with an exclusive VHS on Amazon.com. Since the VHS is released by Gorgon Video (the company that gave us FACES OF DEATH), that would make for a great Big Box episode.
