Exactly what I thought. The movie, as it seems, doesn't bring nothing new to the Werewolf lore. It's interesting to see another werewolf movie and the gore, as I understand, is plentiful but the movie isn't genre defying. I'd prefer to see Monster Squad or Wolf ( Jack Nicholson would of made an awesome Wolverine) or even Bad Moon that had an awesome looking werewolf. As I understand the movie was in development hell because they had to make allot of last minute changes like the Director.

It proves that you don't need crap load of money, nor famous actors for a good horror film. Just a decent story (care about your characters!), good pacing and some creative imagination. Unfortunately, Wolfman goes heavy on names and visualls but lacks in the other departments.
