Brad's Interview on WIUS 88.3

Check out my hour long interview on WIUS 88.3 FM.  The first few seconds were clipped, but basically what you missed is the Interviewer asking me what inspired The Cinema Snob.  The video starts with my answer.

Damn it, if I had known they were going to do this interview, I would have tuned in on my way to school. I had no idea anyone at Western even knew who the Cinema Snob was.

    Great interview!

One thing: while I am not a big fan of REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA, the thing to keep in mind about the film is that, as the title states, it is an opera rather than a musical. As such, the structure of the film, and the music as well, is based in opera structures rather than modern pop/rock/etc. As such, hooks would have no place in an Opera.

This. I thought it was a great interview, and I really enjoyed it, but I would have liked to have an mp3 because my laptop is a piece of shit when it comes to flv files.

so cool that you two guys speak the same language. And your position of the new Nightmare on Elm Street is the only thing that´s making me want to watch that movie.

Wow, finally got to hear this till the end, it kind of finished abruptly and too bad cause I wanted to hear more. What I liked about this interview in contrast to Radiodrome is that the guy asked allot of questions that probably weren't on Brad's mind to answer on Radiodrome so I'm really glad the Host asked them to you.

Also the Hellraiser movie you saw Brad was Hellraiser: Hellseeker and yeah it was pretty good allot better that the older sequels that came before it and tons better than the sequels that came after it. I think the last one to this day I haven't saw because the sequel got so bad. Also I really hate it they are making a remake of Helrraiser without Doug Bradley but that's the fanboy in me talking. Who knows maybe Clive Barker will pull it off. Also I'm against the Child's Play remake but if it's a darker sequel that the last ones, bring it on. Great interview and hope to hear more insight on the shows you do.

Don't get me wrong it's still an awesome show, but not AS good to me.

It was Hellraiser: Hellseeker (yeah, I know...). Check out the first straight-to-video Hellraiser movie Hellraiser: Inferno with Craig Sheffer and James Remar... that one was good.

Ya im a big hell raiser fan, even though some of them are bad (Bloodlines was pretty terrible as it got to into itself in a bad way). My favorites were the newer, direct to video ones as I loved how they tried to take a more psychological approach.

Also I agree if you like Hell seeker, see inferno. That was the first one I believe to do a more psychological take on the series and while not as good in some ways as hell seeker I love it all the same. It helps that the main character reminds me alot of Max Payne.

Brad, I noticed that you said that some of the movies you've reviewed as the Snob you actually liked. I know that you said Slugs was pretty fun, and that Death Nurse is bad, but I was just wondering which ones you actually recommend to watch and which ones to avoid like the plague.
