It doesn't sound like you have an actual phobia. A fear of flying, yeah, but if it were an actual phobia I seriously doubt you would have gotten on the plane at all. A true phobia is debilitating and usually results in a full-blown panic attack when the person is exposed to whatever they're afraid of. I'm not talking just feeling nervous; I mean like hyperventilating, fainting and just plain losing it. And because they know how they're going to react, they avoid their fear at all costs so they don't "embarass" themselves in public.

If you were off doing what I'm pretty sure you were off doing, I can't wait to see the end result.
Also, was I the only person expecting so demonic face to appear in the driver's side window at any second? The camera was perfectly positioned for some sort of jump-scare. I was CONVINCED something like that was going to happen when the lights went out. Like they'd come back on and there'd be Spoony sitting in the backseat or something.

Brad- Ah! At last. I was starting to go through some major withdrawl symptons without my fix of Bradser vids. I can't wait to get how tonight and check out your vlog. I would watch it now at work but I'm guessing that some of your-shall we say- language might get me, oh, I don't know, FIRED!. Anyway, I really hope you had a good time wherever you went. Be thankful that you have good friends you you can hang out with, go and roadtrips with and make vids with. That is a awesome combo.
Oh, and if I might be so bold as to suggest something? How about a retrospective on the old Buck Rodgers in the 25th Century TV show? Gawd but did I love that show. Of course, he was more 70's than 80's. Also, how about something on Sword and the Sorcerer? Or Hawk the Slayer? Or Gor? Just a thought. Good to have you back.

Roller coasters scare the hell out of me. I pretty much went into shock the first time I was on one. But it's funny you mentioning about doing things fine as a kid that you can't do now. The same day I found my fear of roller coasters, I went on the awesome log flume water ride thingie too and that scared me even though I loved it as a kid. Ah well.
Also, I've never been on an airplane before. I'm wondering if that would scare the bejeezus out of me too.

Hey Brad! Can I just offer my congratulations to you and Jillian? Also, make sure you don't do what I did when I got married: my wife and I were married in a Registry Office, so basically bride, groom, guests are all seated. Little did I know that I had my foot on the edge of her wedding dress. Luckily, no damage done, but it's on our wedding video (I'm sure we've got a copy, but I've never seen it).

I saw that. A lot of people love it but I dunno why. It's not cheesy enough. They try way to hard to make it funny but to me it all felt forced.

I'm not saying this to appear tough or to impress anybody, but i always liked turbulence. It has nothing to do with being heroic or suicidal or something like that, but i think that it somehow reminds me of being a baby and being cradled. It could also be because i'm such a couch potato and so every time i get my ass somewhere and feel physical forces influence my sensually starved body, it feels nice. With other words, i feel more alive when experiencing something like air turbulence than i feel in my every day life.

I'm afraid of flying too, but I love it. Something about being strapped into a metal tube with wings rocketing through the air at 30,000 feet seems like such a curious and terrifying way to travel. I love the fear.
