The Video Violence movies piss me off. Not because they're shitty, I've never watched them myself, but because before I started watching the show, I didn't know about them, and my friend and I had an idea for a short film that was, unintentionally, a much darker, more serious version of it. Granted, the similarities stop at "video store" and "murders on tape," but if we went through with it, I'd have my life knowing that the first thing I shot could be trolled by Video Violence comparisons. >

Great review as always, Snob. Now all that's left for you to review is Jon McBrides other shot-on-shitteo masterpiece from Camp Motion Pictures, "Cannibal Campout"! Unlike "Woodchipper Massacre" atleast that one actually delivers on the gore amount. Just don't count on it being a better movie though.

Always nice to see a guy who isn't afraid to make fun of himself. It shows humility in the face of ever growing popularity and makes you likable.
As for the movie, I was left curious about how the college girls killed the pizza guy in the video. I assume they just stabbed him or something uninspired like that but it reminds me of a porno I was once subjected to so it stuck in my mind.

Always wondered if you were going to review Video Violence 2 when you said at the end of the first one that number 2 come with it. Well the sequel still sucked and at least you reveled the ending to the first. What next, you reveal in your next episode the ending to Unhinged, because it seems the Snob is out with a vengeance this year.

What was up with the choppy movement in parts of the movie. Guess Gary Cohen wanted to be artsy, but it ended up being like one of those really low budget 80's music videos. Another reason why music videos and movies don't mix.
Video Violence was actually the first review of The Cinema Snob that I saw back in 2007 because I wanted to know if anybody reviewed it on Youtube and there it was.

Another great episode. I liked the tie-in to the old Snob (although the video looks better as it isnt as dark cus you figured out lightning now so well you can even film in the dark better =P )
