3 Podcast Interviews

Did a few podcast interviews last week, thought I would share the links with you all.

JewWario and I guested for The Geek Fighters and Xtreme Network to talk about our experience on "Kickassia."  The episode was recorded right after the airing of Kickassia Part 6 to get all of the hosts first reactions.

The Geek Fighters

I was interviewed on the Beyond Nerds podcast as well.  After me is an interview with Dave Campfield, director of "Caesar and Otto's Summer Camp Massacre."

Beyond Nerds

And I was also featured on the Painkiller Already Podcast.  I kind of disappear about halfway through it, but we had plenty of good discussions on action heroes, remakes, and vigilante movies.

Dude, Brad Jones, CinemaSnob.. you should not be film reviewing you should be properly PRO ACTING dude.. seriously you stole the FUCKING SHOW in this kickassia (i saw it and you through spoony's site)

but seriously you're acting was like PROFESSIONAL, whereas i felt most all the other parts not so much. You honest to god reminded me of something between George Clooney in Ocean's movies, and i don't know, something uniquely and attractively you (im not gay or bisexual) im talking about ur acting ability. And after watching kickassia i checked out some of ur reviews and found more entertainment when you're acting. anyway either way im a new fan now and will enjoy your upcoming stuff im sure! But seriously props for ur part in this crossover production

Far be it from me to bury someones podcast because I'm sure they have their own set of challenges, but the best interview by far was with the Beyond Nerd folks. I'm not sure what The Geek Fighters is but I'm pretty sure a pod cast with 75 people isn't a good idea. It's like being interviewed by Earth, Wind, and Fire. It was just kind of annoying that no one was able to finish a thought. You are a much more patient man than I, Brad, and I applaud you for it.

Hey, one of the mob of people in the Geek Fighters one here, and I agree that was just a bad idea. The Shades really wanted to essentially throw a big party, but making a podcast out of it? Diiidin't work out. Most of us couldn't talk or else 5 other people would be talking too. I agree, I'm amazed Brad & JW stuck around, and if they were only acting like they enjoyed talking to us, kudos for their acting ability.

thanks, but I never knew we where interviewing him, we where just having more of a discussion and having fun. We considered it more of him Co-hosting with us because after the interview and review he comes back to talk to us and we give him a couple of questions but have another 20 minute discussion. It was fun stuff, I wouldn't mind having him on another podcast.

I agree, I wanted to do something big, and it didn't work. I even mentioned in the notes that i'm going to avoid trying this again. I do appreciate Brad and Justin dealing with all the issues and gettin through that. Normally, my podcasts are well done with only about 5 people at most, those are more organized and well done, this was just a clusterf&*$ with only a few people able to keep the conversation going. Hope you were able to somewhat enjoy the show at least.

Honestly, I thought you handled it really well, and I didn't think it went over bad at all. It helped that anyone who wanted to speak had to push a button to do so, as opposed just being able to freely speak into the mike. You did a really good job of having people speak at once, and whenever more than one person talked, you fixed it fairly quickly. I thought it went fine, and it was a lot of fun to be on!

That Painkiller Already interview was a bit strange, wasn't it? They invite a internet movie reviewer and then they just go off talking about guns, ignoring their guest for pretty much the whole second half of the show.

Sorry, i didn't see that Brad wrote that he was only in the first half of that podcast. I thought i had heard his voice occasionally saying "yeah" or something like that throughout the whole show.

This has nothing to do with anything and I decided to write this here cause I didn't know where else i would ask this, but do you take requests? And if you take, where i can send them? I have seen one movie that would fit your style, its cheap, cheesy, fucking horrible piece of crap. Movie called "Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare" (1987), starring great musician but horrible actor Jon-Mikl Thor. Its not rockmusical, its horror movie with lots of 80's hairmetal. I suggest you take a look of it.
Anyway, love your reviews. Sorry for possible bad english.
