Does the gang make it to a Chick-Fil-A?  And how many pawn shops can we hit along the way?

Great Vlog. I especially loved the trips to the comic book store and pawn shop. (And the fact that the Chick-Fil-A was the only place open at that place.) Next time you get a craving for Chick-Fil-A though, you should come to Charleston. We've got one in EIU's food court and it's only a 2 hour drive instead of 8.

If you need more heck drive 4 hours to Evansville Indiana. There is one on the East side of town and it is not in a dorm or anything. Couple of comic places to go to like Comics Unlimited, Comic Quest, and Book Broker (they got books, dvds, comics, music, etc). several pawn shops too. If you are desperate there is the Book and Music exchange. Never sell anything to them. They will rip you off big time.

and the second i heard the music from manos i instantly thought of Crow and Tom Servo screaming and crying. awesome XD

Um, I just noticed that the people in these videos have weird voices. I mean, I live on the west coast, but is it that the Illinois area has a certain accent or is it more relative to personality. Because I live in California, but being in California I don't really talk like anybody around me. That's more because of the people I'm with, my voice is really a reflection on my personality and the way I act, but I've noticed that people in California have a way of talking, so do people in Illinois have a small accent where they sound like they have a cold? That's what it sounds like to me, but it could be relative. Well, too bad you aren't anywhere near Huntington Beach, because I would have to introduce you to some "King's Pizza", because it's seriously the greasiest Pizza I've ever had, which is something you can only find in a place like California.

You mean, regional accents? Yeah, pretty much a lot of illinois/midwest folks have a slight twang or nasal quality, but if you're judging by this video you haven't heard the real deal.

and yeah, you can't judge my voice by this video either (i'm teh gal in purple.) I had a tooth explode that day so I was stoned out of my mind on Vicodin.

You should have come back down to the area where you attended AnimeSTL, there are at least 2 chick-fil-a's that aren't very far from there. One being at Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville (yes, another chick-fil-a in a college) which is about a 1.5 hour drive from Springfield and the other is at Fairview Heights which would probably be about 2 hours.
