      Actually it's quite easy.

Pour your Crystal Pepsi in a can and add 1 ounce of dry ice to every 12 ounces.

Let the dry ice dissolve completely and then stir to make sure there is no solid dry ice left for safety reasons.

Then you have a re-carbonated drink. Just sip at first because the drink WILL be colder than a well-digger's ass.

Wow. I loved this stuff, while it was out. A bit after this was canned I remember there was another introduction a few years later, wikipedia's telling me it was "Crystal from Pepsi".. but nothing else.. but it was a sad shadow of the beauty that was Crystal Pepsi.
Ahh the halcyon days of our youth, the Summer of Crystal Pepsi..

Crystal Clear Pepsi came out when I was in high school and I liked it back then. It would be nice if they start making it again like around the holidays, say Christmas because it looked like a winter drink to me.

I got this 3 year old bottle of grape Gatorade in my refrigerator. My mother, may she rest in peace, was the only one who will drink gatorade. Since she died neither me nor my father have never gotten around to drink the last of the gatorade, not just out of mutual respect, but the fact that we hate Gatorade. It doesn't even taste like flavors that they say but more like colored water. That what just Gatorade is. So if you are interested please let me know.

I still buy Nutrasweet. It's the same thing as Equal; aspartame.

You can email Pepsico & request a limited-time return of the stuff. If enough people ask for it, they'll probably do a limeted release.

Also, it seems what you have there is Diet Crystal Pepsi if it has NutraSweet in it, but you obviously knew that already just by looking at the bottle.

NutraSweet is aspartame (also branded as Equal, which is not the pink one; that's Sweet-n-Low ). Aspartame, of course, is a popular sugar substitute. Its taste would have probably greatly, greatly degraded over 18 years, much moreso than high fructose corn syrup's taste would (because sugar never really goes bad). If you were to have tried original Crystal Pepsi, who knows? Maybe it would've actually tasted like soda.

Get a bottle of seltzer water. It's a bottle with an attachment for a CO2 cartridge. After you fill the bottle with your favorite drink you screw on the special top and insert a cartridge that injects CO2 to carbonate it. Then you press the lever on top and your drink comes fizzing out. You can probably get one in a department store.

That was REALLY funny. I'm in my early 40's, so I used to drink Crystal Pepsi when I would go over to Buffalo and I loved the stuff, much to the consternation of my friends I would cross the border with. So I was very curious to see how C.P. held up though the decades.

I like Crystal Pepsi back in the day too. I'm not sure why though. It wasn't tasty at all. I also liked Tab in those days, so maybe my tastebuds were off or something.

I remember trying this stuff. I can only remember trying it once, but I don't remember hating it...in fact I'm pretty sure I liked it.

Anyway, I'm really commenting because there's a soda I found, and liked, which disappeared from store shelves, but managed to find just now when I decided to look for it online so I could suggest it.

    Flathead Lake Monster Soda

I'd recommend the Sour Cherry or White Grape . Never had the courage to try Huckleberry.

It's really easy to recarbonate drinks. Simply add a bit of dry ice, and let it sublimate. As a bonus, it will be nice and cold. If you want to be more scientific, use about 2.2 grams of dry ice per 454 mL bottle, seal the cap, and leave it to pressurize in a safe place.

I remember drinking crystal pepsi when I was 11. I remember the whole attraction was that it had no artificial colors. But I also remember that towards the end of it's run, they changed the formula and added more citrus, so I remember there being 2 crystal pepsis, the first one that tasted like caffeine free pepsi and another that tasted like 7up mixed with pepsi. Anyone else remember that ?

okay now I remember what it was called, "Crystal From Pepsi" basically a reformulated crystal pepsi that was being sold as a new type of soda, eventually to be retitled simply "Crystal" until it got pulled from shelves as well.

Other clear sodas I remember include "Tab Clear" "Clearly Canadian" and "Snapple Tru Root Beer"

Great review. I liked Crystal Pepsi when I was younger and I miss Surge. I drank that stuff like if it was going to go out of style...and it did. Speaking of vintage soda, someone has to have a can of 1980's Tab stashed in a basement somewhere for the past 25+ years, or even Tab Clear.
