I was wondering when you would review Island of Death. I watched this film two years ago with a friend and we still talk about it today. Is this movie as bad as August Underground's Mordum? I hear that one is the worst, but I generally don't watch exploitation films. The worst film I've seen gore wise is Dead Alive, and if there's something worse, I'd rather just learn about it on these videos than go buy them.

Even though this film did get a UK release eventually it is still heavily censored. I picked it up as part of the Vipco Screamtime Collection not knowing anything about it, but the release doesnt contain any of the goat fucking (shame?) and the face burning with the aerosol can. In fact if I remember corrctly it has around 30 minutes cut out of it.

I don't think I've laughed so hard at one of your videos in a while, that dopey laugh during the farmer rape slayed me too. I have to admit, this movie does have some interesting ideas for shock value, what I find strangest is how those opening credits look exactly like they were on Windows Movie Maker, as if someone did those exclusively for a DVD of this movie.

I looked on twitter last night and saw you published a new video. I looked, and laughed heartily when I saw which movie you were doing. I showed my wife - she has long held that Island of Death was the worst thing she had ever paid money to see (She bought it years ago for a former boyfriend, and kept the DVD for some reason). We both loved the review man. Goat fuckin' indeed.

Banned in UK, I come from the UK and I cuould happily live forever without know of this film's existence. Golden Shoers and beastality. Just no, I mean and inceest as well, seriously. To be honest I have seen worse horror films then this, I have seen saw 5 which is worse then this.

Superb review Brad, i remember emailling you last year to review this movie i didnt think i would ever see you do it. No wonder its banned here in the UK and the fully uncut version still is. I managed to get a R1 copy of this movie and as far as films go on the old UK DPP list that were banned and prosecuted this one seems like it has a bit of a budget and fairly decent cinematography. But all that aside GOAT FUCKING!!!

Being Greek & living there (though not in the isle of Mykonos, where the film recognizably has been shot at) makes this even funnier.
Mastorakis is (or was, he has kinda retired of late) a big enough TV persona around here (besides whatever legitimate claims from back in the day). And before watching this while it was one of those things that hang in the air around him, that he had made movies abroad (*awe*), what movies was never mentioned; now i know why...

Has anyone ever told you that you have an awesome voice?
Anyways, I can't figure out why anyone would put time and effort into making such a movie. The worst part is that it tries to be edgy with some provocative scenes and ends up just being vile. Goat sex is stupid, that's what it is. Those two annoying protagonists (more like douches) are ten thousand times cheesier than those two turds in The Cement Garden and that's saying something. Keep up the good work, your reviews are brilliant.

Ah, Nico Mastorakis. I remember his 1984 movie BLIND DATE, a sci-fi/erotic thriller starring Joseph Bottoms, Kirstie Alley, Lana Clarkson, and Kier Duella. The film is about a blind man with a computer chip that enables him to "see" that chases a serial killer. At least that movie DOESN'T HAVE GOAT FUCKING! That was great with the narration and the rage over the GOAT FUCKING!

For everyone saying this movie looks entertaining: it's really not. It's way too long and manages to come across as really bland despite all the perversion. I watched this on YouTube (it seems to be gone now) and the only memorable thing was that one screaming song that gets repeated a few times. It starts out folksy but turns totally batshit fucking insane with nonsensical shouting. It's the perfect soundtrack for burnt-out hippies.

I love this movie, even though it does drag a bit towards the end (before being livened up again by the yokel bum-rapist and the side-splitting final twist).
The music is amazing as well, that really terrible Greek folk-pop, and a recurring song that goes "Jesus said - I'M FLYING!" Hold on, when exactly did he say that?
