There is nothing to fight about, they are not just using copyright footage, they are using copyright footage and talking offensive things about Tommy Wiseau, So if is there anyone who can do something about it is Tommy, who can sue them for libel and slander.

Everything they said were part of their reviews and last I checked you could use parts of copyrighted material if you were making a review about it under Fair use. Tpmmy suing them would do nothing against them.

That was pretty good.
I saw the Room for the first time only a few days ago in a local theatre, and found the experience to be fantastic. You can't get the full effect of this movie just by watching it. You need to go to a theatre and see it with people. It's like a circus. Like being in MST3K.
So in that regard, I can accept why Wisseau is so anal about copyright. He's still touring this movie, years after it came out. Successfully. If he wasn't, all he'd be is the star and creator of a terrible movie.

Instead they shut down their free promotion, enticed many pissed of fans to simply pirate the movie instead and the reviews are still on the internet.
So no, I cannot accept this idiocy. Either they are afraid of money, want to forget this movie - but then again, why are they still touring theaters with it - or they are seriously retarded.

Just recently watched "Don't Go In The House" actually. Thought it was okay but some parts were unintentionally kinda funny. I did think the effects looked pretty good for 1980 though. Awesome disco soundtrack!

Between this, and Doug's Tommy Wiseau show skit, I need a new pair of underpants. Both very funny.
I don't know if anybody saw it, but Wiseau was on that Red Eye show (You can probably still find clips on youtube), where the host (I forget the name) basically made fun of Wiseau to his face, and he was too stupid to realize it. So I was actually surprised he's gotten everyone to stop broadcasting web reviews.

Well, that was the funny part. I saw this movie when [as] aired it for April Fool's day. I was SO appalled by it mainly because those two retarded hacks Tim & Erick were attached to it, so I did not commit it to memory. Between us talking about being film reviewers and reenacting the scenes, Brad pulled a few scenes up on youtube. I instantly recognized it, and remembered how disgusted I was. Then I asked the same question to brad...that's when I got the joke.
And yes, we do this while we hang out. (Aside from trying to talk brad into fucking my bellybutton)

This is by far one of the best Brad and Jerrid sketches. Good criticism of the whole affair, nice silly reenactments/mocking scenes with some funny original parts thrown in. I also love The Happening part, because I've heard Spoony talk about that a lot recently and I was able to get the joke without seeing the abomination. Overall, awesome. Going to watch it again.

This video along with Nostalgia Critic's sketch made my night! No lie! I was laughing out loud so hard I think my upstairs neighbors could hear me! The reenactments were perfect, I love the "I can't remember his name" and the look you both gave the camera was so brilliant, and I thought the idea was a brilliant response to the sillyness of it all!

I don't think it should be bought anyway, seeing as how copies of the DVD fetch extremely high prices. Though if footage of it hasn't been spoiled for you, I'd still strongly recommend seeing it in a cinema.

That was great, probably the best 5 minute review I've ever seen in my life. This whole review was so well played, most reviews just ride on the film content, displaying scenes and using that as its sole source of comedic gold and you...well you kinda did something similar anyway in roundabout fashion, but the treatment was so fantastic, especially in its lead-up that I really want to say thank you.
I bet Mr Wisseau would have a hard time taking this one down (even if NC and Obscurus Lupa's reviews will be back).
While we're at it, here's an online petition for Tommy Wisseau to direct Twilight: Breaking Dawn. A lost cause perhaps but good fun, and at least we can tell our friends that we fought for great justice.

wow. like someone else said, this is top of the notch satire. the dry delivery of the earlier lines really sold the whole video, you were snarky without sounding like a prick-- quite a hard feat to accomplish! and the re-enactments were amazing XD you really did exactly what needed to be done in response to recent events. beautiful.

Loved the vid, good satire of the situation and the acting was perfect (in that it was perfectly horrible just like the movie's acting, if that makes sense). Wiseau Studios' claim against the NC is absolutely ludicrous; there's no legal precedence and all reviews and satires are protected under Fair Use, it just sickens me that they would force the site to take the video down. I'd like to see them try the same shit with this video, it would really hammer in the point that they're simply money grubbing narcissists with nothing better to do than harass those who would otherwise encourage people to view their terrible movie.

I didn't even know that NC's was taken down for copyright issues, well this is what the law has to say about fair use in case anyone's interested:

Whoa, correct me if I'm wrong, but that states from my understanding that under the fair right use that it basically says no parody or critisism is allowed using any copy righted material Which would mean nearly all of the reviews using any footage are not protected and are illegal under the copyright ... Or is it the other way around? I'm a little tired right now, not sure if I'm reading it right

Simply awesome. Wonderful as always. I knew the lack of reviews of the room was a world-wide phenomenom! I'm SO glad that I'm not the only one who is being blackmailed by that internet hoarding .... I-I mean I'm glad I'm not the only one not being blackmailed by that great great guy who certainly did not try to hold copyright infringement over NC for showing clips of his movie in a satirical and completely legal matter.

Wow! I have to admit this review was pure genius! Kudos! I have a hard time believing that any movie company would complain over an internet review, esp such a poor no-named movie like the room. Hell, Ive seen ET Porn, Star Wars X-Mas special and Battlefield Earth at this site and tgwtg and lived to tell the tale(barely). I didnt think there was anyone out there who was worse than Uwe Boll, Bruno Mattei, or Michael Bay-but guess Tommy Wiseau wins douchebag of the year award.
