Ha, I had a friend pick up Zombie Doom: violent shit III at his PX. We watched the shit out of that. seriously brad, watch that and have your mind blown. ninjas, zombies, shiny cardboard masked madmen and bad dubbing oh my.

Zombie 90 is truely one of thw orst.. but in the same best of his productions ^^. i truely love this movie because of its minor flaws like you hear the producer the whole time in the background ^^. violent shit has been shot a few miles from here.. never thought i would find this movie here. i don't know if there is a english version of the movie but if you can find a version of "das piratenmassaker" in english.. watch it! the biggist shit i've ever seen... by far! zona mutante was close to it but was so shitty that it became great.. like zombie 90 ^^

Holy Crap, I remember paying a shit load of money for a washed out 5th or 6th generation vhs copy back in the day when german movie censorship was even worse then it is now and it was almost impossible to get that stuff (especially for a 13 year old ^^). Well at least it had part 2 on it and that one is at least borderline watchable.

You just made my night! I hate to push you but I'd love to see you follow up this one... I have a friend who subjected me to this and the first sequel (I wasn't subjected to #3..), he seems to think that as long as it is full if gore it = good movie.

Who would have thought that there existed a movie that would make "Black Devil Doll From Hell" superior in terms of storyline, continuity, and overall production values.
And another thing: why did Karl have a baby? Is it some kind of twisted "miracle"; brought about because he took a flying header into the female Christ figure's abdomen?
Or was it just because Karl was secretly a woman, which brings up another pertinent question: WHO THE HELL WOULD WANT TO INSEMINATE THAT?
I think that if I spend too much time pondering, my head's gonna explode.

Hey Brad, kudos for sitting this through. I never did. Even as a mindless teenager I couldn't. Schnaas became better with years though. Still I don't know if I should recommend anything. But I can recommend another veteran of the German splatter-homemade-section. Try to get "Premutos" by a guy called Olaf Ittenbach. It is fun. And if you want true homemade cheese try Ittenbach's first movie "Black Past". It's silly but technically pretty good for a homemade flick. I wished I could recommend some good German horror-movies but I can't. Either you have the "homemade-guys" deep into mindless gore-galore or some real productions but as to expect here too tame and gutless. I'm not a fan of Ittenbach but I feel like having the duty to mention him because when I was young I liked him. But he also turned out as a disappointment, still doing movies today. Looking kind of good but forgettable. Well, and now I'm gonna shit and eat it all up myself, because that's what we Germans do all day, eh? Or should I attach three dogs ass to mouth? Well after some Schnitzel...

Yeah, finally you (hopefully) get to the german horror underground and start right with one of it's "classics". There's so much stuff you could do a review of.
But you REALLY have to do "Dämonenbrut" from Andreas Bethmann. I'd fuckin' LOVE to see a snobvid for that.
Also the list of reviewable movies would be so long. Starting with "Zombie 90" from Andreas Schnaas, aka "Karl The Butcher", or "Hunting Creatures" up to "Violent Shit 2 and 3" (although the last wasn't that bad afterall) and finally coming to the last Bethmann-"Meisterwerken" "Angel of Death 2" (no, Part 1 might be a good joke opportunity for strange sexploitation with a lot of german horror underground related injokes, but is not "needed" for understanding) or "Rossa Venezia".
The Timo Rose - Movies also would a great gag-vehikels. Dammit. We need a german-horror-cinema-snob-a-thon. Das wäre großartig!

Have you ever seen "Mad Doctor From Blood Island" and "Vampire Men of the Lost Planet"?
VMotLP is a Filipino caveman film that was spliced in with American footage that somehow also added Vampires for like 3 seconds.
The Filipino film was black and white so to match the color film of the american footage they added annoying one color filters that kept changing on top of the black and white footage.
I think that would be interesting to touch on because the Filipino exploitation films haven't been touched on too much on this site.

Brad, what about a series concentrating on bad German movies? There is actually a lot of stuff out there and it's quite unknown to the world, maybe for all the right reasons. But as we have become the cinematic butt of this world (there you have your shit-reference again), we deserve to get a bit more attention. I think it really would be great to get some more reviews about German-direct-to-video-underground-flicks. And believe me, at least "Violent Shit 1" was already the worst of the worst. And I've never seen something like such a review-series yet. So it would be quite unique.

Whoa, what a coincident... I just got the trilogy box a week ago. I just love these films, and I think they just get better and better.. I'm really looking forward to seeing the 4th in theseries. Oh God. You referenced Taintlight. I watched it the other week with my brother, and it was honestly the worst movie I have ever seen. I'm not one of those people who drop that bomb left and right. It was the WORST movie I have ever seen. Taintlight wasn't even make-fun-able. It was just boring, badly acted, terribly written, and devoid of any and all positive qualities.

Man, that makes me feel kind of bad, being quarter German... Ech, make that half, I spent half my life here.
Anyway, how something that terrible can get this many sequels is a little oddity. The tradition of homemade (and yes, that mostly means Shot on Shitteo™) C-grade splatter films stems from the bad years for horror fans in the 80s, when regulation of violent material was so bad that the young ones saw this as their only option to get their fix of, well, violent shit.
That developed straight into some form of subculture caught between darker punks and the German Wave/Goth movements. Violent Shit is actually the first of those kind of movies that ever went directly into the video stores in bigger numbers.
Nowadays it would be easier to just download indexed stuff, but as Germany goes, once something akin to tradition manifests, it rarely disappears.

You would be shocked to hear how goddamn common it is for German movies to fill their soundtrack with radio songs you NEVER wanted to hear again. EVER.
This is especially true for made-for-TV movies, since most German TV channels actually DEMAND that songs should be heard around 76% of the movie. And since good audio technicians are a bit too expensive, we have lots of movies whose songs are to FUCKING LOUD.
Sadly, those made-for-TV movies are way to tame and harmless for your show...

I feel so terrible knowing that this movie is not the most pointless one I have seen (or heard of), although it's in a close second. You should do the whole series just to rid the world of any morbid curiosity of wanting to watch it.
Plus, had a bit of a "Freak Out" flashback with the blank death glare at the end of the two idiot's joke scene. You're particularly creepy when you want to be.

Oh camon, the other ones must be pretty much the same, if the first it´s majorly padding, the other ones are probably quite similar, wich maybe, if we are very lucky a very streched out and poorly delivered explanation about the characters motivation, but I doubt it, it+s a movie called "Violent Shit" after all. I think that there´s no point reviewing the entire series.

OHHHHHOOHOH now you have to do at least the first sequel, the 1992 one. The other 2 you got out but the sequel is at your limit. Oh and did they try to film the movie in a lost footage style or they are just bad at camera angles and sound. I think it's the second.

Same here, i love W.A.S.P. and that song actually kicks ass. Although, I'm thinking he was just making fun of the context of the song in relations to this movie, or at least that's what I'm sticking with.

Hey Brad I know you only post trailers to the films you review on your YouTube channel now but I'm subscribed to you there as well under my YouTube user name HackedUp4BBQ013, I've been watching your videos since about 2008 when you use to put all your reviews there before starting this site anyway my point is you are definetly the best, most entertaining and my favorite persona on the internet anyway I'm glad to see you reviewed the first Violent Shit I've actually been hoping you would anyway it is a horrible film and basically has no plot the only entertaining parts are all the brutal murders I'd realy like to see you review Violent Shit II: Mother Hold My Hand and Violent Shit III: Infantry Of Doom also known as Zombie Doom here in the U.S., the director Andreas Schnaas is a very obscure director and doesn't care much about plot as he does about mindless blood & gore but I actually enjoyed 1 film by him I've seen called Nikos The Impaler which actually has a plot but of course there is 1 thing in the film that doesn't make sense like Nikos, a brutal barbarian having magic powers lol its definely his best film though I think outside of the U.S. though its titled Violent Shit 4: Nikos Felissa Rose(Angela)from Sleepaway Camp was actually in it to and theres a cameo from Llyod Kaufman also it was shot for just $40,000 and filmed in NYC where I'm from

I had to leave a comment and say that when I saw the naked Snob part, it was by far one of the funniest things I've laughed at in a long time. It was just out of fuckin' no where and I was definitely not expecting it.
I have to say you've really been out doing yourself on your Snob videos lately. You are someone I keep coming back to because I will always be surprised.

I think this movie may have the worst title I've ever heard. It's in the same league as calling your film "This Movie Is Balls."

Ooooh - why are you so angry about this film? I would have thought you'd be a little more appreciative of what is basically just a bunch of kids who are into Splattermovies shooting their own one...
Also I have high hopes that you continue doing the violent shit series until part III, because that one is... Wow...
An island off the coast of Germany ruled by a cult of mass murdering machete wielding soldiers, a mad scientist creating zombies, Ninjas, 3 main characters who - after the movie is 1/2 over or so - get killed and let totally different guys take over we have never seen before, a pretty young asian character telling about how the cult has killed his wife and the following flashback showing a blonde woman get tortured to death who could very well be his mother or grandmother (agewise - she's not asian) and some of the most ridiculous dialogue I've yet come across...
I couldn't stop laughing the whole time...
One thing that totally cracked me up was that the initial 3 main characters pretty much hate each other and keep on abusing each other. What's so funny about it is, that they do it "American style", using f-bombs almost constantly... What I mean is: The way they curse people in bad US action movies curse in English, but i have never *ever* heard someone do exactly the same in German before, and I lived here for almost 40 years after all.

I made the mistake of taking a drink of pop when watching this. Then a naked snob appeared on my screen and I shot grape soda out of my nose. Thanks for the burning laugh Brad =D

I didn't think the NCOTD naked dance could be topped, but then that second of film that survived the cuts came on.
The subtitles popping up at the wrong place was also a hoot.

It's like watching some stand-up comedian (Not Lewis Black,if it was it'd be much better)Hack up some people and Bitch about his life...this was a Long movie (Even at only a little over an Hour,I think 70 or so mins,but I could be wrong)
Although I did get some decent Horror in that same Collection...(Las Vegas Bloodbath included)
