Same sentiments about the film here. I was looking forward to it and it was boring as hell. I said in my review that I found it hard to believe that one could take the ludicrous idea that someone would commission a replica of the Titanic, call it Titanic II, have it set sail on the exact date the original did and make that film anything less than fun, or at least hilariously bad. How can one make that sort idiotic tempting of fate bad?
But, a movie about killer dinosaur capsule sponges? COUNT ME THE FUCK IN. That's awesome.

After Alien vs Hunter Broke my brain in half from its shear asylum-ness I've tried to watch all of the asylums works, So I was probably gonna see this anyway, but the fact that they're trying to make a legit heavy-handed sequel? I think I have to see it even more just out of shear masochism.

I was really hoping that this would be awesome, but I guess I'll have to wait for Mega Shark II. On another note: I had avoided looking up The Asylum's list of productions until you mentioned Crocosaurus (...what the fuck), but when I was looking at their films, I noticed that they were the studio that created H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds. A sense of dread grew within me as I clicked the link, and lo and fucking behold, it turns out that it was the same film I had seen a couple of years ago and declared to be the worst movie I'd ever seen. So! That explains why it was so awful.

I've seen Titanic II. It's like one of those made for TV disaster movies of the 70s or early 80s crossed with Love Boat. The only funny things are (a)crew seem to out number the passengers and (b) entire ship seems to consist of the control room and an industrial boiler of some sort.
The girls were cute enough to convince me that going on a rebuilt Titanic is not as stupid as it sounds.

They said that it could never be done. They said it was impossible. They said it was in horrible taste.
But Asylum Films was there, flaunting convention, and making a sequel to the one movie that could never have a sequel...and somehow making it even worse than it sounds.
Asylum Films: When Bruno Mattei just doesn't suck hard enough. XD
Anyone wanna take bets on when Spoony comes to defend this one? XD*

Back in 1999 some cheapo outfit made a porn "sequel" to Titanic called "TITanic 2000" (aka "Scary Sexy Horror Movie") with vampire hookers and crude computer backgrounds....the subject of Titanic has been beaten to death. They made five or six Titanic movies in the monochrome era, the Titanic-like Poseidon movies, a color cartoon, the lumbering Cameron flick, and now this load. There are other stories out there.

i really liked this one, even by asylum standards. i thought though the premise was a little stagnant, shane van dyke's execution of plot was pretty god. i mean, c'mon, a mega tsunami pitching icebergs is pretty baller. brooke burke, however, was completely superfluous. cannot WAIT for mega shark 2: urkell's revenge!

oh my gosh. Where did she get her shirt back. The effects were awful and the whole time I was watching this I was just hoping that someone would call me with some emergency to take care of. So many inconsistencies. and the only thing faker looking than the effects were the girls. Good God, and what was with the CGI crap at the beginning when they were on the glacier? Take out the stupid hose and share. Gosh, 3000 characters is not enough to complain.
