My first boyfriend was a huge fan of Drive In flicks and while he normally went for the horror exploitation, he went to a few Blacksploitation flicks too and I went with him to see this.   Ah that doesn't make any sense. 4:3 is cropped. I think this movie did have a theatrical release when it came out in 1975. You can find theaterical release posters for instance.
