I'm going to take the possible bashing for having not even watched the video yet, but I must say, that is one of the most awesome title cards I have ever seen.

Wow! Brad, I never realized how much you used your hands when you talked until your fingers were 10 inches long! great Video, really like the Brad tries segments. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Candy corn is almost pure corn syrup.
I love Jones Bubblegum Soda.
Anyone else think that the container effects the taste of soda? For be it tastes great in glass, good in aluminum, & subpar in plastic. It's the same with milk; it tastes so much better in paper than it does in plastic, & all the different brands have a slightly different flavor to them too.
Too bad you're not doing candy anymore; I'd love to see you review Brrty Bott's Every Flavor Beans.
Victim of a Gruesome Grapegasm.

Strawberry S'Lime? Gruesome Grape? Come on Jones Soda, you couldn't think of any more Halloween/Fall related flavors? What a cop out.
Aw, are you terrorizing your cats in your costume?

I HAVE THAT GLASS WITH THE HAND ON IT!!! AWESOME!!!

Haha! Loyd's face at the end was priceless!
I love how worked up you got over the grape soda only for it to actually taste terrible XD Too bad you didn't have all the Halloween flavours!

So.... What exactly is candy corn, anyway?

Great review. Also thanks for the Halloween 3 reference(s). Underrated flick!
I like Jones Soda, though I never really heard of them releasing stuff like this. I only see the regular glass bottles. I like their Cream Soda, even if it isn't creamy; and there are a couple other flavours I like. I can agree about stuff like bubble-gum though. o-O My husband also likes collecting the Jones bottles.
I like Candy Corn too, but it is one of those things that just make you go "Blugh..." if you eat a ton of. I imagine that's the feeling you get drinking it in liquid form.

Ah, I remember seeing and buying those at a Target three years ago , all while thinking; Oh, how deliciously novel!
...
Cold.
Carbonated.
Wouldn't matter- that Candy Corn flavored one was dreadful! I could not give them away!
I think there was a chocolate or caramel flavored cola too...
I had something different than the grape one.

Hi Brad,
do you have any intentions of doing an episode with weird food again? I know, after the insects it is almost impossible to get any more weird but it would be nice to see something else instead of soda sometimes.

I gotta say, I like the title art for Brad Tries and the Bruno Mattei Show better than the title art for the Cinema Snob. I'm thinking Savage Vengeance in particular, yeesh!

Haha. I remember these things. I got a pack and all I remember is throwing the pack out.
It was so sweet that I felt it was eating out my teeth. I mind you it was new at the time and was cold/carbonated.
Another good video Brad.

It looked like it was about to stick its face in the drink at the end.

I don't care about the soda, I just love that siamese cat.

Sorry Brad, but Lloyd was the real star of this video. KITTY! :3
Also the whole time I was thinking to myself JESUS, BRAD, CLEAN THAT UP, IT'S GOING TO STAIN YOUR TABLE!

Hey Brad - Are you getting any residuals from that Jones soda?
Reply to this
Crystal Pepsi tasted so disgusting. I don't get why people are so stuck on that flavor. I'm sure the people at pepsi would release a clear pepsi but something tells me that someone else owns the formula to that drink they marketing and that's why they haven't reproduced it.
Reply to this
I hope you cleaned that up, or Jillian's gonna kill you. Or did you just let the cat lick it up?
Reply to this
This made me shit bricks since I learned that there is someone else in the world with a Siamese cat named "Lloyd."

Your cat sure knows its cues. Perfect timing at the end for hopping in there.
and nice costume to review drinks.

Great review Brad, wondering if you new that all Jones soda are made with actual sugar. I've had the Lemondrop halloween soda by Jones and that was really good. Also their Easter pack was pretty good as well, Chocolate Bunny was the best though, it tasted like you were drinking a Tootsie Roll.

You should review some swedish "Julmust" for christmas! In fact, you MUST do it! (see what I did there?) Why? It's the drink that makes coca-cola drop 50% in sales in Sweden during christmas and is probably the most hated/loved drink here. It has a really special/different taste that was made to be a non-alcoholic alternative for beer. You should be able to find it in IKEA there in the US during christmas time. Great review, cheers.

I remember having some of these and not being too crazy about the Candy Corn. Of course, I've had their Strawberry Lime and Grape sodas before (liked them), but I think they also had a Pomegranate Boo-berry (gee, bet you can't guess the flavor) that was my second favorite (behind their lemon lime which I can't FIND ANYWHERE!), and there were a couple more flavors that I can't remember. But yeah... the Candy Corn one isn't too much better refridgerated.
...yeah, despite working for Coca Cola, I still love me some Jones Soda. I prefer their actual Cola to Pepsi and my employer. LoL

I seriously think Lloyd should have his own show, or at least his own episode! XD

I have the Sour Lemon 4pack from back then somewhere in my house. We picked up so many of them back then since they were cheap after Halloween.
If I find out where I have them at I can send in a 4pack!

Hey Brad, you seen those homemade carbonated soda kit things? saw one yesterday at meijers (walmart-like) and instantly thought..hmm..wonder if that would recarbonate a crystal pepsi.
Apparantly its got enough of the carbonation stuff in it to bubble up like 60 liters ( or the one i saw did )
anyhow thought you might like to check that out if you havent already haha
awesome vids as always...pz

Hey brad These were sold separately
and it was a series of 4 with the 4th being "lemon Drop dead" which is essentially carbonated sour mix. The "Gruesome Grape" was as I recall unnaturally sweet when fresh so you aren't missing anything.

wow man i haven't seen those flavors of Jones soda in years. i do remember drinking that grape one and I think it tastes better if it hasn't aged, i remember it actually tasted like grape at the time, it wasn't good, but it wasn't horrible (or gruesome)and you know there are a lot of other weird flavors that Jones has made before. just last week i saw a butternut flavored one.
by the way, i happen to work at one of those obscure supermarkets that has all of those weird drinks you had before (the birds-nest, and cocaine for example) and I've seen some pretty scary food in my time, if you need any suggestions or something specific I'm there for ya brad.
anyway happy post Halloween.

Since you like grape sodas, I have a suggestion for you. I don't know if this has been suggested before, and if so here's another suggestion for it. Try to find yourself Mountain Dew Pitch Black. It is still my favorite Mountain Dew.
I should also mention that there are two versions of the drink out there. There was a regular and a sour version. Both were only available during the Halloween season. The first version was released in 04 and it's "sequel" was relased in 05.
However, my sister and I have found out that they are still technically making Pitch Black II, but just not calling it by that name. Out of their AMP energy drinks, the purple one title Traction is Pitch Black in energy drink form. Personally, it tastes more like Pitch Black II than an energy drink.

lol I am one of the people who enjoy candy corn as well but I don't think I would like it in drink form. I have actually never had any kind of jones soda heck I haven't even heard of it till now. Some of the flavors you mention just sound disgusting like the turkey one or potatoes one. I am seriously curious about crystal pepsi now since you talk about it quite a bit. I haven't had crystal pepsi since I was like 3 or 4 when it came out but I would like to try it. I am a fan of pepsi and it does have my name in it so yeah if I can get my hands on a bottle I will try it.
One a side note your cat is awesome.
