as said.. wrong brand on the julmust, Apotekarns is the way to go when it comes to julmust.

This is how I like to see the other TGWTG crew members. They're a lot more entertaining when they're acting natural and being themselves as opposed to forcing jokes or preaching. It was nice seeing everybody be human, and I wish that would translate to their shows.
Reply to this
Except in theirs shows they play characters. Like Brad plays The Cinema Snob.

too many strong personalities trying to get their bit in at once. honestly it was frustrating

You can actually get Julmust in World Markets in big glass bottles.

Ah Leinenkugel, a jewel in the crown of Wisconsin.
One of the few reasons i'm proud to be from Wisconsin
How many times am I gonna say Wisconsin in this comment.
Just one more time I will say Wisconsin and that will be it.
WISCONSIN!

WISCONSIN!!! I was also quite proud to hear Leinenkugels mentioned. My favorite beer from Wisconsin.

I have also seen julmust at World Market in the Christmas section.

I highly you suggest you try Iron Beer. It is a soda from Cuba

Brad, we've got Vodka Cola in Japan. It's called Cola Shock, and it rules the world!!

Where we're going, we won't need taste buds to taste...

Who was the camera man?
Anyways awesome special :3
I still think you need to try Kvas, Russia's coka-cola.

Seriously I probably drink a litre a day of Julmust around christmas, its sooo cash!
Reply to this
Ah good old julmust. too bad you didnt have the apotekarns brand thats the one thats popular where i am, some have very heavy taste.

As was mentioned in the TGWTG-forums, you should definitely try glögg, Swedish spiced wine served heated. Like with the julmust though, the brand really matters.
Reply to this
yeah, glögg should be tested also.

I demand that you try the right brand of Julmust BRAD!
Apotekaren is the shit.
Julmust deserves justice.

I love Julmust! The only drink that's better then julmust is Trocadero.
Reply to this
you not a portello fan? but i do agree, an ice cold glass of trocadero isn't beatable by any frink in the f'ing world.

When watching the Julmust reactions, I really felt the urge to leave a comment about it not being a good brand of Julmust, but then I realized there were already some 40 comments saying just that, so I'll just second what they said.
Reply to this
A great Christmas drink here in Sweden is to mix gin and julmust... its like a perfect flavor combination
Reply to this
Why is everyone trying to peer pressure Linkara into drinking beer?
Reply to this
They weren't really peer-pressuring him, they asked if he was trying it, he gave his reason, they teased him a little (as groups of friends do) and then left it at that.

Remember that fat guy in the red shirt from the charity drive? That was me; I served as cameraman for this episode.
...Sorry. I know that it came across as shaky and I was kind of loud when I spoke (that's me). If I serve as cameraman again, I'll do my best to tone myself down a bit. I do serve my apologies to anyone who thought it was overbearing to the point that their enjoyment of the video was diminished.

Yey, Julmust! I'm from Sweden and it was really fun to watching you drink julmust. Its tastes so good.

LoL I'm from sweden and everyone is drinking Julmust on x-mas and it is yummy.

The 'Julmust' will be a swedish root beer - most countries in Europe have an equivalent, and they formed the original recipes for cola. In Britain, the equvalent is called Dandelion and Burdock, and was a traditional cough cure due to the coating effect it had on the back of the throat (very soothing for sore, dry throats).
Reply to this
as the proud swedes before me has said... you are totally drinking the wrong brand... Julmust is an incredibly popular drink in sweden during christmas, sells like crazy.
Reply to this
Funny fact even Mcdonald's in Sweden sells julmust since 2006 or 2007.

Too many people I cannot enjoy when to much talking
Hope you do not make too many with too many people.

You pronounce it like... well the unit of energy, Joule + Moose + t
If that makes sense
I was actually thinking of sending you guys some julmust too (they have it in finland too) but I never did.

Brad, you have made me a happy man. Holiday Spice Pepsi is to me what Crystal Pepsi is to you. For the too few months it was out, my family acquired and guzzled every last bottle of this stuff we could find in Southeastern Pennsylvania. It was, during its time, without a doubt my favorite soda. Now I need to go and hunt down a case.

Great vid, although when you talk about vodka and coke. In the UK we have Vodka & Coke in the pubs and stuff but not commercially available. Or Double Vodka & Coke of course. Keep up the awesome work!
Reply to this
Actually, Smirnoff have recently released a vodka and coke mix in a can - it fills an entire shelf in my Sainsburys Local. Although why you wouldn't just buy the two seperately and mix at home is beyond me...

This isn't really related to Brad tries. I just wanted to say I've been watching you off and on (more on lately than off) since I saw Spoony highlighting you sometime ago and I've gotta say you've really kept my interest. Keep up the good job!

As many people have pointed out before I, this is clearly a case of too many people talking at the same time. I can't help thinking that it's really just the nature of reviewers to say anything that comes to mind regardless of others doing the same. Perhaps it's something where everyone feels they need to say something in order to make themselves feel important or feed their need to spout their opinion. There's hardly any yielding to anyone to make anyones opinion stand out. It reminds me of Kickassia except the only thing keeping that in check was a "script" and a "director."

I thought this was awesome, always fun seeing you guys together! I had no problem with the many voices! I thought it was very fun that you had a Swedish drink on your show. We have one for easter too you know. It's called "Påskmust" and tastes exactly the same as "Julmust"!
Reply to this
Dude hur många svenskar äre här?? XD
Reply to this
Haha, I was thinking the same. It feels like half of the comments on this video are from swedes.
I've noticed some swedes here before, but I didn't realize we were this many!
(I'm swedish, but it looks nicer to write in english here)

Well they tasted the wrong julmust. nygårda and apotekarn is the best nygårda is the greatest.
Reply to this
They sell different kind of "musts"(julmust=christmas/yulemust) now påskmust(eastermust) and sommarmust(summermust).
I usually stick to Pepsi, but most of my family go over to musts during these seasons. I don't even think my father drinks any other soda than different musts.
My fridge currently contains 3 Julmusts(nygårda) and 1 zingo, just something to soothe your taste for anthropological knowledge.
As Ofast says the brand might matter.
Reply to this
I must say that you got a bad brand of Julmust. There are a lot of better brands.
Also... Try to mix Julmust with Vodka and you will get what we call "Elak tomte" Aka Bad Santa

I don't know why everyone is complaining about the amount of people in this video. I thought the interactions were very natural and charming. I also like how everyone got so shocked that one person thought it tasted like Fruit Roll-Ups and another was tasting alcohol. I was cracking up.
Please review more things with Doug. You two have comedy chemistry.

I kind of love that it seems like every swedish person watching this wants to defend our "national drink". Didn't realize so many swedes were watching.
Personally I actually don't like julmust, but still drinks it every christmas because of tradition

I think these websites (tgwtg, avgn, spoony, cinemasnob) are more popular in Sweden than in the states themselves.. And yes, I am a swede of course, i egen hög person!
Julmust is delicious, not sure about that particular brand you tried, wouldn't count on it..
And what's the deal with the flavored beers?? It's like fucking, coloured gasoline, like, what? WHY?

I would like to thank you for the efforts you have made in sharing this. I am hoping the same best work from you in the future.
