This episode of Radiodrome was recorded when I had food poisoning, so filling in for me was the great 42nd Street Pete.  Enjoy!

Man, this guy is like the real-life version of Vic the Big-Box man. I really need to get myself copies of the Andy Warhol horror movies one of these days.

I'm pretty sure the only way to work around the lack of copyrighted music in TV shows and porno films is if they get another singer and composer to make remake (or karaoke) versions of the music, and make them sound similar but different! I wonder how come no one has ever thought of that?

I know Josh said somewhere in this show that Tarantino only made one good movie: Jackie Brown.

For 'Pulp Fiction' alone, he is my favorite director. It's in the AFI top 100 of all time. And yes, Jackie Brown was technically his best movie, and admittedly, he hasn't done anything spectacular since. But Pulp Dogs and Jackie put him in the pantheon of the greatest auteurs ever.

Very interesting podcast! Love hearing about old video stuff. Some years ago I worked at a cult-video store (named Videodrome FYI ) in Sweden and learned a whole lot of the obscure films and collecting of it, thats out there haha.

Are there any documentaries about this cult-video culture of today?

Quick, somewhat pointless question; what is the song that starts off the episode?

Any guesses as to what it is, anyone? It's not a song in the traditional sense, I can tell you that.

The main point is that the song is from a Videodrome trailer.

But the hard question who's the singer/artist and what's the title?

I'm not quite sure what I was hearing during the intro song; lighting up & smoking a bong, or lighting a cigarette & then pouring a soda.

It was a beneficial workout for me to go through your webpage. It definitely stretches the limits with the mind when you go through very good info and make an effort to interpret it properly.
