Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter
Public Domain Month concludes with the follow up to "Billy the Kid vs Dracula"...."Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter."
Do they fight? Who knows. But apparently they atleast meet eachother.

Very Nice. Yet again another review of yours that made my day worth waking up for. Keep up the good work!

This and Billy the Kid vs Dracula should get remade.

Hell yea John Wayne reference and a cheap shot at the Oscar's. Throw in a crappy public domain film and you got a hit episode.

Baron Frankenhathaway?

Well, at least everyone can agree that Anne Hathaway's hosting was more frightening than either Billy the Kid Vs Dracula or Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter.

Technically She is the daughter of Frankenstein who is the son of Dr. Frankenstein.
Still great review.

At least this time Brad kept his clothes on after hearing that song play.

But I could have been naked during the voice over parts. =)

Hopefully no one tells the Cinema Snob about that Cowboys and Aliens movie coming up, or he might get really pissed off. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH7KZD5vGBY

Cowboys and WHAT???

Don't worry. Jon Favreau directs, stars Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde, and HARRISON FORD. You should be fine.

I'd like to buy a DVD and all, but even if you review public domain movies on it won't all these clips and song samples queer the deal?
Reply to this
The few copyrighted movie clips I used during Public Domain month will have to be replaced (I made sure not to use as much) but the DVD will have plenty of extra features and exclusive stuff only available on the dvd.
Reply to this
As long as each clip is under 30 seconds, it's fair use under all circumstances. I don't think you'll have to change out anything.

Hey Brad, you forgot the second sequel to BtKvsD. Butch Cassidy Against the Mummy's Brother-in-law!

What was that Sam Peckinpah clip from?
Well, when I think of the Wild Bunch, I'll always think of My Name is Nobody with Terence Hill and Henry Fonda.

What other pairings are possible I wonder?
Carmilla and the Sundance Kid
Solomon Pico Fights Svengali
Black Bart and Lord Ruthven
And what about double fictional pairings!
Django vs The Tall Man
Trinity vs the Wolfman
Sartana meets Eye-gor
The possibilities are awesomely endless!!

Congratulations Snob on making the first and probably only Ann Hathaway James Franco sucking at the Oscars joke in internet history!
Reply to this
While I'm sure you're being sarcastic, better to get a topical joke in earlier than later. And they didn't just suck. They were the worst Oscar hosts in history.

You know, Calamity Jane vs The Wolfman could be an interesting movie. Jane's lover is the Wolfman and in the end she has to kill her lover. Drama fantastique!

Hate to be one of those people, but you kinda messed up the opening bit, I'm pretty sure you were supposed to say the 29th the first time, but you said 28th.

That Intro made my day.

I'm surprised you didn't rip about Hank's butchering of the chick's name.
JUAN. ITA.

Ohman that intro quite great.

Always felt a little sorry for Cal Boulder. After a classic ep of Bonanza called "The Ape," wherein he played Lenny to Hoss' George, he always seemed to get cast as a good hearted, but simple minded man. Guess he was too late to hit Italy for the muscle man movies.

Well, at least Igor wasn't the same one from King's Quest. Then you could have ended up transmogrified, which would be much worse.

best opening bit EVAR!!!

Minor nit-pick: you say "Shouldn't it be the 28th?", I believe you mean "shouldn't it be the 29th?"
=P
Reply to this
Ah, but he's FILMING it on the 28th to be released by the 31st.

I'm sure that was Douchey McNitpick on the other end of the line in the beginning!

They could have named this Jesse James Meets Lady Frankenstein and it would had made more sense.

Here's three movies that you should review: Saturn 3 (1980 sci-fi schlock); The Alien Sector (from Galaxy Invader's director, Don Dohler); and Nightbeast (Dohler's own Alien Sector remake made six years later).

I think you mean The Alien Factor.

I'm confused. As someone who's read the book, (SPOILERS)
Didn't Victor Frankenstein's wife DIE?! He never had children! So I don't know how this movie possibly exists.

I saw this movie when I was much, much younger during a western phase and uniquely enough noticed that the actor who played Hank (Cal Bolder) was also on an episode of Bonanza where he played a big strong dimwit. So at least he had range.

I love your ringtone....

This was much better than i expected.
Still pretty shitty though.
I really like your show.
Greetings from Germany.

lol, the end bit with Franco and Hathaway was actually a clever tie in.

Funnily enough, this was viewing at Bad Movie Night one week. Somehow I still have NOT seen the companion film to this, Billy the Kid Meets Dracula. After seeing your review, it didn't look like I missed much. Juanita is a firecracker and Narda Onyx as the Doctor could really use some cheese to go with that ham. (All right, maybe not, the dialogue is plenty cheesy enough.)
This movie is all about the women:

When are we getting more forgotten Nic Cage.

The movies just get worse! I love it! Brad, you never fail to amaze me!

That actress that played Juanita was also in "Rio Bravo".

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free.

I'd been considering making that song my ringtone ever since I first heard it. I don't really have a choice now, do I? It must be done.
