Then Jerrid shares his thoughts on "The Zookeeper."

I see Jerrid is channeling his inner Jake.

Wow, Jerrid really let out his inner Jake in that "Zookeeper" review. At least you guys sold me on "Horrible Bosses", but when I go see it I'm just gonna feel sorry for Jerrid throughout the whole thing.
Oh, and a big THANK YOU to Jerrid for hating on "Happy Feet". Most overrated animated movie of the last five years bar none.

So... why was the girlfriend in The Zookeeper such a horrible person? What made her so?
Too bad Jerrid didn't make a reference to Priest; he could've been Replacement Jake here.

I can tell from the trailer that this women is a horrible person. I mean seriously... who dumps a guy because he's a zookeeper? She seemed really bitchy and shallow and as soon as I saw Rosario Dawson I knew she was the real love interest.

I liked Mall Cop because it was basically a Die Hard remake. The Zookeeper doesn't look great.

Are you kidding me? A Die Hard remake. I seriously doubt that. Mallcop was horrible pile of vomit and Kevin James is no comedian by any rate.

Well die hard remade as an affectionate parody in Shopping Mall. There are loads of references to Die Hard in mall cop and the basic structure is the same right down to the gang opening the money boxes to the tune of Beethoven's Ode to joy. My kid pointed it out to me. And I liked it even if no one else did.

Poor Jerrid. I feel for ya bro. I've been seeing that horrible movie's trailer for weeks and every time I did I felt like I wanted to barf because it just looked like one horrible piece of shit; and when I saw the trailer for Horrible Bosses I knew that was a movie I wanted to see. It kinda reminds me of Throw Mama From The Train, except this is about bosses and it's numerous people involved instead of just two trying to rid themselves of each other's problems.

I think they referince that movie in thi movie's trailer a couple times!

I don't know if it's a running joke or an inside joke or something that went over my head but as someone currently learning Korean hearing you say "jay-awng" hurts me. Jeong is pronounced similar to "jawng".

I can't wait to see Horrible Bosses, got such a great cast, and it's been awhile since I've seen a good comedy in theaters.
Zookeeper......never. Never, fucking ever.
My thoughts on the Footloose trailer: I like Dennis Quaid. But I have NO idea what the movie is going for; is it being modernized? Looks like it from the shitty rap music and the grinding all over the trailer (which, by the way, is SO totally dancing). But look at how everybody's acting and dressed, and nowadays, dancing is a pretty wildly accepted thing. So THAT suggests it's still in the 50's...which is it? Is it modernized, or set in the 50's? The movie isn't even out yet, and it's already having an identity crisis.
Plus, as Brad said, Footloose had a GREAT soundtrack; music today, is ass. People don't dance anymore, they just grind. Maybe if it was called "Dickloose" instead, at least that'd be honest...

The "Footloose" remake looks like pure garbage. To be perfectly frank, it looks more awful than most of the other remakes I've seen in YEARS. It looks less like a remake of "Footloose" and more like a remake of "You Got Served" with white hillbilly hip-hop dancers out in Buttfuck, Alabama. I also have to disagree with Brad. "Footloose" is an awful movie, and the soundtrack sucks. I love 80's music, but Kenny Loggins sucks. That they were all "rebelling" to his music was asinine (but at least they weren't doing it to hair-metal like Poison and Cinderella, I'll give it that). And the scene where they play chicken with tractors going all of five miles per hour has to be one of the stupidest things ever filmed in a movie. But they actually seemed to make it look 100 times worse based on this new trailer. They don't even have the Kenny Loggins song "Footloose" in the trailer, and they made the scene where Kevin Bacon smashes things in the barn look 100 times more gay than it does in the original movie, which is pretty fucking gay. And the lead looks like a HORRIBLE actor, even worse than Zac Efron (who was originally supposed to star). His delivery of the line "this is our time" while standing in front of the town committee or whatever, which sounds like "this is ahhhh time," made me cringe.
Seriously, Jerrid's line "they're remaking Footloose?" was an incredibly apt and succinct summation of how I felt when I saw the trailer.

Aaaaw Brad. I feel bad for Jerrid, can he see a good movie next time?

I'm glad you guys liked it since in truth I saw the movie Horrible Bosses today and loved it more then any comedy I've seen in awhile (actually I kind of thought Pirates 4 was funnier then Bad Teacher but maybe because I'm a fan of Pirates and found it to be less cliche then this movie). And yeah like you said the pacing and how there aren't any big cliche emotional moments and the cheimsty between everyone is great. And it's good to see a comedy just BE a comedy without having to shoe horn in a lesson or moral and still have a very upbeat ending. I'm not so familar with It's Always Sunny In Philiedpia and in truth saw this more due to Jason Bateman being in it and me being a big Arrested Development fan but I thought all of them did very well with their roles and yeah I defintley wanted more Colin Ferrell as well.
sucks poor Jerrid had to see the Zookeeper though. He really needs to go see one of the good movies one week and you see the other one to balance things out.

May I make a suggestion?
Send Jake to Smurfs with Brian and Jerrid as revenge for Zookeeper.

Poor Jerrid. Always finding himself with the shitty movies while Brad and the others get to have fun. If you do decide to go see Harry Potter, I hope you enjoy it. You deserve it after sitting through The Zookeeper.

Speaking of the trailer for the Fright Night remake, I thought it looks pretty good but I'm not sure if it has plenty of the same heart as the original. Still, I'll go see it not only for the 3D but how the cast pulls it off.

Man, it seems like Jerrid keeps getting the short end of the Midnight Movie stick this summer.

He did get to see Bridesmaids and Kung Fu Panda 2 though.

Horrible Bosses is very well written, but personally I didn't find it that funny (as in "I can't breathe, that's so funny" funny). But I would recommend it over Transformers 3 and most of the other films currently in the theatres (except for Midnight in Paris, that film is hilarious).

Poor Jerrid, seems like a dbag move from Jake that he pulls all the time.

The thing that KILLED me during these reviews was actually not during the review itself. Jerrid's saying he hadn't seen part one and Brad's "Of Winnie The Pooh?". I'm not sure why but I had to stop the video I was laughing so much.

I think Jerrids review was the most awesome review I have ever seen done XD
I FUCKING hate Jennifer Anniston with a passion but I will definitely be seeing Horrible Bosses now. I kind of wanted to anyways, but thanks for confirming it.

Another midnight showing of a bad movie and it'll be only necessary to place Jerrid under suicide watch.
And his flip-out was one of the best!

Send Jake to Smurfs in Jarrid's place. It is the right thing to do.

Great reviews! I really want to see Horrible Bosses but my dumb ass local theater isn't showing it. But they are showing Zookeeper. Which I have ZER0 interest in at all!!!
Yeah tell Jerrid just wait if he loved his movie so much they're making some movie in which Adam Sandler is voicing an animated Dracula! So that Jack and Jill bit form South Park was real?! WTF??!?!
PS, hey Brad what is ya'll's mailing address? I've found something interesting for ya'll to try in my local grocery store! 4-5 different aloe vera drinks! I think it's from Mexico as half the lables are in Spanish!

Jerrid looked like he was about to snap. I'm not sure how many more of these kids films he can handle...

at first I thought "Oh no not Jerrid!" Not that I have anything against him but I thought Jake is the angry one who hates with passion, but I was wrong... Jerrid can do it too!
Good job jerrid

I've never seen footloose. All I remember it for is that title song by Kenny loggins.
I don't get all the hate for hip hop amongst 80s nostalgics. Some of the best records of the 80s were basically hip hop. NWA, Run, DMC, Schoolly D, Eric B, plus loads of electro. Actually I think the 80s are massively misrepresented by most of the people who claim nostalgia for the decade.

Ha, I have that same "Planet Terror" shirt.

Damn, I didn't think Jerrid had that kind of rant in him.

I'm SO looking foward to see the RAGE when they see SMURFS.
Sorry Doogie Howser, I'll not see ya in this one. Barely tolerated Beastly for you.
Jerrid, my man, I feel your pain bro. I'm a mother and for the last 11 years I've watched a LOT of shitty movies. And that really fuck up your psyche.
Great reviews, Guys! Saludos de Puerto Rico!!!
BTW, here haven't release Green Lantern, can you believe that?
