Flaming Brian and I make an official announcement on the filming of The Cinema Snob: Unrated, a new movie to be shot this December (to be released on DVD a couple months after).
There's not a lot we're giving out now in terms of the plot, so for the time being just imagine "Game Boys" crossed with "Deep Red."

"Game Boys" is a geek comedy Brad wrote and directed a few years ago, and "Deep Red" is a Dario Argento giallo mystery.

I've actually gotten a hold of the script. It's basically like "Clockwork Orange," with Snob being forced to watch Chester Novell Turner movies over and over again for weeks at a time. 80's Dan also appears in the movie, and his character gets raped. Unfortunately, Bootlegger Bill won't be making an appearance, but Bootleg Greg will.

It'll be relased on DVD. If I put it solely on the site, I'd have to censor the nudity and I don't want to do that.

I thought the movie idea was a joke when I saw the Brad and Jerrid Go Hollywood video, but hey at least now I can look forward to something like this while waiting for the AVGN movie.
Maybe it'll be about the Snob finding himself in weird and bizzare situations from the movies he reviewed.

I was surprised to hear this, considering that the Angry Video Game Nerd is currently trying to make a movie too. But I totally forgot you guys made like 5 movies on your own already.
Hearing that the script was written years ago, I'm kinda bummed that we might not see any crossover characters. I'd pay to see a fight between Kung Tai Ted and El Topo Chico. Or have Flamin' Brian meet Drunk Brian. Lloyd vs R.O.B.? Jerrid vs...well, Jerrid?

And other characters from the movies the Snob has reviewed.It would be like a living nightmare for the Snob and him trying to deal with it or run away from it.Just a thought...

I really liked your movie Game Boys so I'm looking forward to this one, hope you will put it out on blip because since a lot of europeans don't own a creditcard they can't get a hold of your movies.
I would love to see Paranoia but, don't have a way to get it without a creditcard.

I think he's said that he can't officially release some of his older movies because of music he used in them.
Still could author a nice DVD for each one with commentary and extras, but put it online via direct download or torrent for people to download, burn themselves, and maybe include a printable cover and all that. That wouldn't be any more/less legal then putting it up on blip, would just require passing around 4gb or 8gb ISO files.

See, this is the reason why I like your stuff more than anybody else on the internet. There's something about having your Snob movie be dark, and not just a straight comedy, that makes me excited. It's very cool that you're making it for everyone & not just the fans. Hopefully it will be your best exploitation movie yet!

Sounds interesting. Just hope it isn't one of those movies crammed with lame pop culture jokes and overacting like Doug Walker's anniversary movies.
I think you should go for a Last Action hero/Stay Tuned-type plot where the Snob gets trapped inside a shot-on-shitteo B-movie and interacts with it's characters.

Brad & Brian, if you want heat try Blairs stuff, any of them starting from After Death. Tastes like crap (or stuff I have tried so far) if you ask me but burning is quaranteed. Hot-Headz have tasted better so far, and are ridiculously hot too depending on the product. Their Satan's Sweat melts my tongue right off. Naga Jolokia is one evil chili...

You mentioned that some new faces will be in the movie, so I was wondering if Josh Hadley (from RadioDrome/ 12:01 Beyond) would make a cameo appearance. I could definitely see him playing a video store owner or something similar.

I haven't read comments to this on the tgwtg site because they tend do be made to give me nightmares ("CAMEOS11!!"), but it sounded like you want to make a real movie and not that (in my eyes) worthless stuff that tends to be made by tgwtg. I like some of the reviewers, but not the movies they make.

Bianca moved out of town a couple years back, but we still keep in touch since she's one of our closest friends. Unfortunately she's retired herself from acting, but we always ask if she's interested in being in something because we love working with her.

Well I don't actually think that there are people out there with the intention to give me nightmares, that was just a joke, but yes, cameos are my nightmare if they're done the way they tend to be done: Cameos for cameo's sake and not to further the story in any way. That's just cheap and unfunny. If well done, cameos can be funny but please read the first few comments to the AVGN casting announcement video on the tgwtg site, I puked a bit in my mouth when I read some of them.
