Not much else to say. Rob Schneider has a new sitcom, and Jerrid is one of the unfortunate few who watched it.

Basic premise is the same as Meet the Parents/Fockers, but with Mexicans! Still basically a neurotic Jewish stereo-type character that marries into a family that makes him unconformable! ORIGINAL!
Well, look forward to watching Cheech on that cooking reality show coming out soon if it isn't on already, Jerrid! XP

Following videos like the 'Change-Up' review and his Jake-given nickname "Baldy McGiggles", did anyone initially expect Jerrid to be cracking up through the entire video? I assume that's why this was chosen to be filmed in the first place. He handled it well...I'm a bit relieved to know he's at least impenetrable to the "humor" of Rob Schneider.

Jerrid, a piece of constructive criticism, when you do something like this, you gotta at least try to rant alittle, even if the material you're getting doesn't give you anything, just talk about *something*, as it is, it's 15 minutes of a guy watching tv...

Also the ratings for this show were actually preety good >_>

I remember the premise of Dharma & Greg was sort of like this, and I tended to enjoy that show, but I don't have high hopes for Rob. It looks like the main joke is that ancient cliche of a guy reacting to the weirdness of people around him, and one thing that I liked about Dharma & Greg was how that show's main joke was at the expense of people like that.

The premise of Dharma and Greg they saw each other on a subway when they were kids then met again when they were adults by coincidence. They didn't want to lose each other again so they got married impulsively. I think that is quite romantic actually. And they make a really funny cameo in the season premiere of Two and a half men this season. They are acting like they cannot stand each other lol.

I don't get why Rob Schneider is involved with this project; his mother is Catholic and half-Filipino....you would figure that Schneider would realize that this show is an unintentional remake of "aka Pablo", that Norman Lear sitcom from the early 1980s starring Paul Rodriguez. THAT show only lasted SIX episodes thanks to pressure from Hispanic groups.

All I can think is that this is more money in the bank for Rob Schneider, to tide him over until Adam Sandler puts him in another Gawd-awful comedy.

I wouldn't hold my breath that this show gets cancelled soon. The pilot pulled about 13.5 million viewers, even if it drops to say around 8 million, it would still do as good as the first season of Big Bang Theory. Maybe it'll get better, though I wouldn't hold my breath about that either.

I saw the pilot, it wasn't the worst thing I ever saw, but it's nothing I would intentionally watch. Cheech Marin is actually quite funny because of his low key performance.
