Soundtrack digital release is a possibility, though what I'd probably do is combine music done for Paranoia and The Snob Movie into one...do a release on Bandcamp.
As for releasing it on Vinyl...probably not.

The dvd will obviously smell like Crystal Pepsi. I'm sure Brad sunk a considerable amount of the film budget replicating that smell to use on things like dvd cases and car air fresheners.

I have been awake for 2 days straight doing a stupid portfolio to apply for graduate studies, I finish a few hours ago (7:41 AM). I do not feel well at all....then I see this and all my anger and depression goes away. So thank you Brad, had you not released the movie today. I might have stayed in all day and drank whiskey till I passed out.

Do you think that will be the case with all your movies from now on? Because, although I certainly appreciate them having an original score, I'll certainly miss the use of classic pop songs that were implemented so effectively in the likes of the Paranoia writers cut, Freak Out and Midnight Heat. A sequel to Midnight Heat I find particularly hard to visualise without delicious 80's pop songs.

There will be 2 types of movies. DVD exclusive movies, and site exclusive movies. "Midnight Heat 2" will be a site exclusive movie so it can have a pop soundtrack.

The shipping charge to Europe seems to be about $4 which I think is the equivalent of about 3 euros and a very reasonable price in my opinion.

The way shipping works through kunaki is that as soon as you order it ships either that day or the next. It's a fairly automated service. The only orders that we had anything to do with we're the pre orders we took at cons, which were shipped a couple days ago. So once you order it should start its way to you immediately. Pre orders should probably reach everybody early next week.

I just got tracking, and it's been transferred to dest MI facility from San Leandro, CA as of today (10/2/12) with a projected delivery on the 8th. What the hell?! When I ordered the DVD, and picked the shipping, 10/2 was the date it said would reach me. Why is the waiting time longer than it said it would be? Before long, I'll begin to wonder if my copy will ever reach me. What gives? BTW, I live in Western New York, which I why I thought it would've be easy to reach me, because I thought it was coming from Illonis.

I pre-ordered the DVD as well, and it still hasn't shown up. The mail just arrived today with no DVD. Honestly, wherever it's shipped from in the continental United States, via USPS First Class Mail, it shouldn't take more than two or three days to arrive here in the suburbs of Chicago. I certainly don't want anyone to think I'm upset with anyone at the site here as I know Kunaki handles all of the orders, but I'm just a little agitated to not have any idea how much longer I have to wait for something that should've shipped nearly a week ago. Please, let me know if you can get any details on this. Thank you.

Okay, I have some info. Kunaki is located in Sparks, Nevada, and again, coming from my order and its tracking, was sent to San Leandro, CA for processing and finally transferred to dest MI facility. The projected delivery date is 10/8/12, which seems like a long wait than it really should be.
At least that's for those who ordered it when it came out; pre-ordered, I don't know, since I think Brad was the one who sent out the pre-order ones. If I remember correctly. But for everyone else, that's where Kunaki is and most likely where the orders were sent for processing (before) shipping.

Sorry to hear that others have yet to receive their copies but I just got mine (I live in Fresno, California so it's not too terribly far away from Sparks, Nevada) and I have to say, I had a blast watching it.
It has some flaws (like some erratic sound mixing and a brief audio glitch about 20 minutes near the end of it or so) but overall, great job Brad and Co. (major thumbs up to Jake and Spoony for stealing the show in their roles)
Looking forward to your next movie projects, especially if Midnight Heat 2 is gonna actually happen.

Just saw the movie, and I thought it was worth the wait. The story has the elements of exploitation and snobby critics nicely embedded within its story, and me second guessing at times and always wrong but surprised in the end; it was like an actual movie! (Didn't mean it like that, I'll explain below)
If I may bring up; I guess this Cinema Snob isn't the same Cinema Snob from the Channel Awesome-verse? Multiverse!
Also, a message to Brad and Team Snob: following your work on this movie from the announcement to its release, I gotta say you guys did a great job, and perhaps made your first movie to use to get recognized. You guys have really grown as filmmakers, and this movie, either because of the story or its budget, feels like an actual indie film that they could show off in festivals (not just the local ones). Keep that in mind. If you guys make another movie with a bigger budget than this, I would definitely recommend that again.
PS Speaking of other movies; along with Midnight Heat 2, could we see a The Cinema Snob Movie 2?

Holy fucking shit this movie was awesome! It's one of the four best movies I saw all year!
Thank you guys for creating this awesome masterpiece. Not only was it a blast to watch, not only was it entertaining, it was also an ode to filmmaking. Seriously, there were several moments where I just felt like I was watching a movie dedicated to the act of "creating" a piece of fiction and making it entertaining for like minded people while not giving a fuck about what all the snobby assholes think. That truly sepaks to the heart.
I hope you guys will have a huge success with this film. It should be showcased at festivals all around the world. I'll try to watch the commentaries over the weekend and then I'll write a review for my website, hopefully that'll get you guys some more sales. Thanks for the great work once again! Now please give us Midnight Heat 2...

So I opened a bottle of wine and watched this on Monday evening but it’s been a stressful few days so I’ve only just gotten around to commenting on it. Firstly I’ll say that, although I have the utmost faith in Brad to deliver an entertaining product, I did have my reservations about this movie, mainly due to it being a comedy. Of course Brad’s quite the comedian but as far as Stoned Gremlin films go Game Boys is my least favourite by far and that’s the film that The Cinema Snob movie struck me as being most akin to, at least as far as I could tell from the trailers. Well it turns out that my reservations were unfounded because this movie was fucking awesome. The comedy here was genuinely witty, perfectly delivered and hilarious and the movie has its darker side too, playing out almost like a love-letter to exploitation/giallo genres. The film is also very well paced and somehow manages to attain just the right balance between the lighter moments and the thriller/horror elements; although there’s a lot going on, it all feels consistent and cohesive which I think is an impressive feat in and of itself. The score is another thing I was worried would suffer (being that I love Brad’s use of pop songs in his other movies, especially when juxtaposed with disturbing scenes) but the music here really adds that extra something. Other elements that had me grinning with glee were the awesome practical effects, the countless references and in-jokes and every single scene involving the film club. Every character in that film club was a work of sheer genius. My only minor criticism would be that a few line readings felt a little more like somebody just reciting a line than the actual character saying a line, though this was very rare and on the whole the performances were really, really impressive. To sum up; what could have felt like a cheap cash-in on the success of the Cinema Snob show actually turned out to be a hell of a good, really goddamn entertaining stand-alone movie. Eye-gouging by phone, Jillian topless, Scott Bakula, excessive alcohol consumption, Brad topless, Jeffrey Dahmers glasses: This movie has fucking everything.

all right, i'm from Italy and the dvd just came in this morning. I just opened my dvd tray to stick the movie in, and there was Akira Kurosawa's Yojinbo in there. I got my copy today, and it doesn't work. My player can't seem to register anything on it, like the disc was completely empty. What can I do about this? Do I have to get another copy of the film?
